AANES congratulates with Newroz: by our resistance; we to liberate our occupied areas 

On Saturday, the AANES issued a statement to public opinion, referring to the noble meanings of Newroz in consecrating the unity of peoples and the unity of their struggle.

The text of the statement read:

Nowruz carries noble meanings throughout its history, this holiday is a historical symbol of the resistance that discovered all the aspects of injustice, oppression and denial, it has had a great impact of the unity and solidarity the people against injustice and oppression and the eternal meanings of Newroz are inherited by our people and the whole peoples, so it is still The spirit with which Kawa al-Haddad began to resist Newroz lights the way towards the resistance for freedom and liberation.

In the last year, we had suffered, we the components of NE, Syria we did not celebrate due to outbreak Covid19, although the pandemic is still spreading and we have to be more careful and adhere to the procedures issued by the relevant authorities, the spirit of Newroz and its meanings is the inheritance that haunts us, no matter how it appears.

The meanings of Newroz that denote resistance are the same meanings that perpetuate the unity of peoples and the unity of their struggle, and these meanings extended from Newroz for thousands of years until we reached what we live in our present time in North and East Syria, where the unity of peoples and the unity of their struggle consecrates the practical situation of Newroz and its principles, and where The Kurds, who played a leading role in the resistance of Newroz, continue today with the same pace and enthusiasm with other components and peoples to maintain this resistance path, where today the fruits of this spirit and resistance are evident in our living reality in strength.

On the occasion of Newroz, we congratulate all of our people, and we extend a special congratulation to our people displaced from Afrin, Serêkaniyê/ Ras al-Ain, and Girê Spî/Tal-Abyed and we pledge to them that, in the spirit of Newroz and with the philosophy of resistance that we will continue, we will achieve victory by liberating all our occupied territories from the yoke of foes and mercenaries will celebrate and raise the torch of Newroz as it should be in these areas again.

We pledge to our people that we will continue in this spirit until achieving victory and achieving the goals of our revolution in freedom, democracy, justice, equality and unity of peoples in the struggle for identity, existence and common historical inheritance for a common and one future.

In conclusion, and on this historic occasion, we appeal to all the forces keen on the unity of Syria, the unity of its peoples and its democratic future to work with all capabilities and seriously to achieve a solution, stability and peace in the region and in Syria, through consensus between the Syrian components.

Today we need unified efforts, and we are keen and ready to play our role in this field with full force, proceeding from the principles of Newroz towards a free, democratic Syria.
