SDF: 16 mercenaries killed, military vehicle destroyed during battles today

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement, through which they revealed the outcome of today's battles and said:

"On March 19^th , the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries increased their attacks and bombardment on the town of Ain Issa and the international road M4, as at 11:00 the Turkish occupation mercenaries attacked the villages of Saida and Maalek; therefore, strong clashes erupted in the surrounding of the two villages, during which 3 mercenaries were killed. In the afternoon hours, our forces managed to destroy an armored vehicle in which 13 mercenaries were killed, meaning that 16 mercenaries were killed during those clashes.

While the Turkish occupation mercenaries bombarded several villages in the vicinity of Ain Issa with heavy weapons, and as a result, a child lost his life and a number of civilians were wounded.

While during that resistance, two of our fighters rose to the rank of martyrdom, and one fighter was wounded.

The shelling of the area is still continuing, amid sporadic clashes breaking out in several axes."
