Feminist Revolution involves immeasurable sacrifices

Speeches delivered at the Raqqa festivity indicated that the feminist revolution involves great sacrifices and that '' we ought to adopt the course of resistance, fighting and sacrifice to liberate all women in Syria and the Middle East at large, and that revolutions must be headed by women.

Under ''Hind-Sa'da March and Pledge is Ours'', March 8^th festivities were held in Raqqa, Tabqa, Deir Ezzor and Manbij, with the participation of Kurdish, Arab and Turkomen women all wearing their folklore costumes.

The activity was set off as member of the Women Administration on Raqqa Buthaina Ebdo welcomed the attendees that said '' for the third consecutive year we celebrate this day''.

After a minute of silence was observed, a speech on behalf of all liberated areas was delivered by deputy co-chair of the Manbij Executive Council Nur Hamed that said :'' today, we celebrate this day, all thanks to the gains made and to the victories attended, and the feminist revolution that saw life in the city of Kobani that heralded the liberation of all North Eastern Syria''.

''revolution will not meet success unless headed by women, for she represents life and spring, that the only one that seeks justice and equality in society, all what is being made is by virtue of the leader Abdullah Ocalan ideas and philosophy who says that ''women wont gain prominence unless a revolution in spirit and thought takes place''.

In the speech delivered in the name of the Kongra Star Coordination, Remziya Mohamed said :'' woman has become the torch of resistance and will via her clutch to the land and regaining all rights, she is being living in the first phases of emancipation, and to play her role in making decisions and to liberate from the reactionary cultures inn this great revolution, the revolution of change and transformation from an enslaved and authoritarian society into a freed and democratic one''.

Remziya noted that the feminist revolution involves immeasurable sacrifices confirming '' we will strengthen our will and increase the fight to be a firm shield in the face of fascism to make every day a feminist one''.

That was followed by a singing celebration performed by young woman Minat Allah Tu'mah, and a folklore show by the Amal Band of Tabqa and a stage show by the Manbij Band of folklores.
