Afrin displaced: We follow leader's path until his aspirations are achieved

Today marks the anniversary of the arrest of the leader of humanity and democracy, the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and on this day, tens of thousands of people from Afrin and al-Shahba cantons took part in a massive demonstration, under the slogan “Stop Isolation, Denial and Betrayal, It Is Time for Freedom and Dropping the February 15^th plot.”

During the demonstration, our agency monitored the opinions of the demonstrators, as Khatun Sultan said: “We went out today to denounce the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan, as he is the leader of oppressed peoples, especially women.”

Khatun added: “The leader Abdullah Ocalan is a prisoner of the body, free of thought, for he is with us at every moment. We are ready to sacrifice our blood, our souls

our children, and everything we have for him. The freedom of the leader is of the freedom of peoples and the freedom of women.”

In the conclusion of her speech, Khatun called on the international organizations to join their voices to the voices of the people to lift this isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The citizen Mahmoud Rashid said: “February 15 is a black day for us. We condemn that plot against the leader Abdullah Ocalan and everyone who had a hand in it, and we salute all the resisting people in Imrali prison and all those who carried out the activities for the leader Ocalan.”

Rashid added, "The leader Abdullah Ocalan is the source of humanity, and he is the leader of peoples calling for freedom and democracy, and we will continue to resist and go out in the squares until the liberation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan is achieved.”

On her part, the citizen Leyla Haftaro said: "22 years have passed since the international conspiracy against the leader Ocalan, all those years of isolation with the aim of erasing that thought that he called for, but they could not because this thought is entrenched in our minds" stressing that every day they will increase the pace of their struggle until breaking the restrictions of isolation on the leader.

As for the citizen Hosni Najjar, he said: “This conspiracy is devised to break the will of all peoples, but our will is unbreakable, and just as we broke the attacks launched on Mount Garê, we will break the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan and liberate Afrin and all occupied areas.”
