​​​​​​​Participants in symposium in Manbij demand to lift isolation on Ocalan

Our agency talked with the participants in the symposium, including the Spokeswoman for the Women’s Council in Manbij and its countryside, Ibtisam Abdel Qader, who said: “This plot was against the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan in order to end and thwart the democratic nation project. This liberational thought that the leader Ocalan was calling for used to frighten the countries that plotted against the leader to arrest him.”

Ibtisam added, "Today, the leader Ocalan is in Turkish prisons, and also suffers from severe isolation. Despite isolation and pressures that the leader suffers from within a deliberate plan and conspiracy to prevent this thought from spreading, the resistance continues and this thought continues to consolidate the project of the democratic nation that all free peoples call for.”

Ibtisam strongly demanded to lift the isolation and release the leader Abdullah Ocalan who calls for women's freedom, and we draw strength from this thought in order to live with dignity and freedom.

In turn, Abdel Razzaq Ismail, one of the notables of Damalkha clan, said: “The aim of the conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan is to silence the true word and the freedom of peoples, arresting the leader is arresting the free word, and this is what the capitalist countries want, as they want the peoples to remain oppressive.”

Ismail asserted that: “Every free person must say no to the arrest of the leader Ocalan because he did not do anything contrary to law, but rather worked for the freedom of peoples. Therefore, free peoples must move for the leader's sake to protect this ideology that the democratic nation pursued.”
