Intelligence sources revealed that Israeli intelligence had assassinated the Iranian nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, with the help of a weapon weighing a ton and assisting 20 agents.

The British "The Jewish Chronicle" newspaper quoted intelligence sources as saying that the Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who was assassinated in November near Tehran, was killed by a weapon weighing a ton smuggled into Iran with the mediation of the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad) after dismantling it into several parts.

According to the sources, a group of more than 20 agents, including Israelis and Iranians, ambushed Mohsen Fakhrizadeh after observing him for eight months.

Iranian media reported that Fakhrizadeh, at 59 died, in hospital after gunmen shot him in his car, and shortly after his death, Iran pointed the finger of blame at Israel.
