Manbij educated women: We to be one in the face of Turkish crimes

The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries continue their attacks on the regions of north and east Syria, targeting civilians in particular, and the last crime committed by them was the massacre of Tel Rifaat, in which a woman, a man and two children were left victims.

On this topic, the writer Rola Othman, the Administrator in the Syrian Women's Council and the Member of the Intellectuals Union in Manbij and its countryside says: "The aim of these crimes and targeting civilians is to weaken the will of the resisting people in these areas and an attempt to undermine the security and stability of the region, displace its inhabitants and occupy their homes and lands."

Rola Othman said in an interview with our agency that "the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation target civilians, especially women and children, and we will stand together against this matter with all strength, will and determination to preserve our land and our people."

Rola called on all humanitarian and human rights organizations to do their duty and put an end to these violations and crimes committed by the Turkish occupation against peoples.

The writer also condemned the assassination of Saada al-Hermas and Hind al-Khudair, two administrators in Tel al-Shaer Town Council, south of al-Hasakah, and she said: "With this operation, they aimed at breaking free women's will and determination, but they would not be able to weaken our will because we will resist to live free , safe and with dignity, and women will always be pioneers and example in this revolution."

In the same context, the poet Khadija Shawakh, the Member of the Intellectuals' Union in Manbij and its countryside, and an administrative member of the Syrian Women's Council said: "The Turkish violations are still continuing in the regions of north-east Syria with the aim of terrorizing and displacing the safe residents in their homes, and we do not forget the heinous crime committed by the Turkish occupation state by bombarding a school in Tel Rifaat in the northern countryside of Aleppo during the children exit, and the victims were children displaced from Afrin region, and all this hatred indicates fear of restoring the unity of peoples.

The poet Khadija Shawakh explained that the Turkish occupation targets educated women by kidnapping and killing them in order to break their will because they have resisted the occupation and injustice, and with the aim of silencing the voice of free women.

At the end of her speech, she said that "the resistance of women is an honor and pride for all women in Syria and the whole world because they have proven that they are able to defend themselves and their homeland, and will stand side by side with men to defeat terrorist ideas."

The mercenaries of ISIS had claimed responsibility for the crime of assassinating the two administrators in Tel al-Shaer Town Council, south of al-Hasakah, on the 22^nd of this month, an incident that met with angry reactions in the regions of north and east Syria, as several demonstrations took place in the cities of the region, and many organizations and institutions issued statements denouncing the crime and calling for action to protect women.
