The occupation seeks with the mercenaries of the so-called "Syrian National Army" to expand its occupation territory, by launching new attacks on the regions of NE, Syria, including the city of Derik, and the Şengal province in Southern Kurdistan.

On the date of January 23, ANHA agency quoted the sources of the Turkish occupation’s efforts to launch attacks on the city of Derik and Şengal province, and according to the sources, it is expected that its attacks will begin within 10 days.

In this context, Citizen Fatima Ali, from Salihiya neighborhood, said to ANHA agency, "We, the people of north and east Syria, reject the continuous Turkish interventions in our regions. The Turkish occupier from the beginning has colonial ambitions in order to occupy more areas and cities."

Fatima Ali indicated that the Turkish occupation also aims to eliminate the democratic nation project, which did not differentiate between the components of northern and eastern Syria, including Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, and other components.

At the end of her speech, Fatima Ali noted, "It requires all components and sects of northern and eastern Syria to stand with each other in light of the recent Turkish threats, and stick to their land, whatever happens."
