Manbij clans' sheikhs, notables: We are against Turkish occupation's attacks on our areas

The clans sheikhs and notables in Manbij confirmed their categorical rejection of the Turkish occupation of the regions of north and east Syria, and said that Turkey's goal is to revive the Ottoman Empire in the region.

The Turkish occupation continues to launch its attacks on the regions of north and east Syria, especially Ain Issa district, trying by various means to occupy the area, and practice the most heinous crimes and violations there.

The sheikh of al-Bunni al-Asidi clan in Manbij and the official spokesman for the notables of Manbij and its countryside, Mohamed Sadeq al-Asidi, said: "We, the sons of tribes in Syria and the regions of north and east Syria in particular, have one word which is that we are against any outside interference in our lands."

Al-Asidi added: "We are against the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on our populated areas, especially in Ain Issa."

On behalf of the Arab clans, he called on the international community and human rights organizations to intervene immediately and stop the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries from practicing the most heinous crimes and violations against civilians."

Mohamed Sadiq al-Asidi denounced the attacks of the Turkish occupation on the region, and said: "We want Syria to be for all Syrians, all components and spectra to live a free and participatory life away from wars, murder and destruction."

He saw that Turkey wants to revive the Ottoman Empire in the Middle East, so it seeks to occupy the largest area of ​​land in the region, "We, members of the tribes, categorically reject this occupation by our solidarity with the Syrian Democratic Forces, in defense of our country and our land."

At the end of his speech, Sheikh Mohamed Sadeq al-Asidi called on the people of Syria, whom Turkey had deceived and pushed into wars, to return to rationality and righteousness, return to their homeland, and cooperate in building the new Syria with one hand and determination, instead of attacking beside external parties on the homeland, destroying and sabotaging it.

For his part, Hussein Faruq Al-Mashi, one of the notables of al-Boubna clan in Manbij, said that the tribal leaders and sheikhs condemn and denounce the Turkish occupation's attacks on north and east Syria and Ain Issa in particular.

He considered that the Turkish intervention in the Syrian affairs led to the destruction of the country and the displacement of population, "which is a blatant violation of the rights and lands of free peoples."
