After completing the meeting, the delegation of the Religions Affairs Office went to the roundabout of the Assyrian Church located in Tel Hajar neighborhood, where the co-chair of the Office of Religions Affairs in Al-Jazira region, Sana Farou, read a statement in which she appealed to the international community to stop the Turkish aggression against the region, and it included:

"The cities of Ain Issa, Tel Tamer, Afrin, in addition to their Yazidi villages and others are under constant bombardment by the Turkish state and its terrorist groups, and many innocent civilians, including children, women and elderly people are left as victims, many civilian homes are destroyed, terrorizing and kidnapping them, in addition to seizing their homes.

The only motive for the Turkish state is to antagonize the achievements taking hold in these areas, and the co-existence of all components of north and east Syria in a democratic  autonomous  administration which establishes a pluralistic, democratic Syria.

The Turkish state fears that this experiment will transfer to its lands and pose a threat to the tyrant in it, so the Turkish government has gathered all the terrorist factions from the diaspora to shell safe cities and occupy some of them day and night, and try to occupy more. It is the human duty of every jealous person to stand in the way of this unjust aggression..

We call on the United Nations and the coalition forces to immediately intervene to stop the destructive aggression against human beings and structures by the Turkish state and terrorist factions, and for the Islamic, Christian and Yazidi religious institutions to fulfill their duty and direct the call to the Turkish state to stop the brutal aggression, and the Syrian government and its ally Russia must do their duty in order to preserve the Syrian cities from the terrorists affiliated with the Turkish state."
