Decision still in force as families return home

The 9th batch of the Syrian internally displaced persons willing to return home was exited from the al-Hol Camp, in eastern Hasaka Canton, in conformity with the decision taken by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

HASAKA

Conducting such journeys run in compliance with e decision taken by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, on October 10th, 2020, enacted by the meeting held on October 5th, 2020, between the  Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Syria's Democratic Council, the SDC, the Internal Affairs Body and that of Social Affairs and Work.  

Today, tens of IDPs from the city of Raqqa and that of Tabqa, that fled ISIS barbarity, gathered at one of the squares defined for the purpose waiting for cars that would board them to their destinations.

This one marks the 9th of it's kind for the willing families to leave the al-Hol Camp, after all necessary documents were authenticated, and that they belong to the areas they want to go.

Today's batch consists  of 111 families, made up of 385 persons, all descend from the region of Tabqa and that of Raqqa. 

According to officials in the camp, these journeys would proceed as there are IDPs willing to return home, on the condition all given documents adduce to their sayings. 

As each batch exits the camp it is escorted by members of the Internal Security Forces until they reach destination.

Worth to note that the last of the these journeys, the 8th one, was conducted on December 21st, 2020.
