SDF unveils martyrdom of five fighters in repelence to Turkish and mercenary attacks

Media Office of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, released on today a statement to the public opinion, indicating that Turkish Occupation Forces and the affiliated mercenary groups have lately intensified their attacks on the Ain Issa District and countryside.

The statement reads as follows:

''Lately, the Turkish Occupation Forces and the affiliated mercenaries have intensified their attacks on Ain Issa, with the aim to control the International Highway, as our forces repelled many attacks and bids to occupy the region, as they were all forced to retreat and flee''. 

In reference to the attacks on the region two days ago, the statement mentioned that '' the last of such attacks occurred on December 27^th, as the village of Jahbal and that of Misherfe were attacked by mercenary groups affiliated to the Turkish Occupation Forces, aided by UAVs, as outskirts of the Ain Issa town and the countryside were bombarded violently and intensively, but our forces, after the clashes that took place on December 27^th and December 28^th, repelled all attacks launched by the mercenaries''.  

The statement concluded that '' in repellence to attacks, five of our fighters were martyred, of whom four of the Northern Democratic Brigade, on which we offer our heartily condolences to the martyrs' families and to all our people, to which we renew the allegiance given to protect home''.
