Turkey’s mercenaries threaten Sherawa villagers with expelling and forcible displacement

Sources from the villages of the occupied Sherawa district in Afrin canton reported that the mercenaries of the "Failaq al-Sham", affiliated with the Turkish occupation, threatened the people of the besieged villages of Sherawa district to displace their original inhabitants from their homes.

The sources confirmed that the mercenaries of "Failiq al-Sham", operating under a direct order by the Turkish intelligence, threatened the residents of the villages of Sherawa district to expel them from their homes, after about three weeks of siege.

The source indicated that the villagers in Basufan, Baiya, Burj Haydar, Kabashin and Barada were threatened to be expelled and forced to displace.

Since the fourth of December this year, the mercenaries of Failaq al-Sham and Firqat al-Hamza have imposed a suffocating siege on the villages of Sherawa, Baia, Basufan and Kabashin, and they have also launched a massive kidnapping campaign in those villages, as part of the policy of restrictions on the civilian population.

It is reported that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army kidnapped the Yazidi citizen Ghazala Manan Hussein, 45, from the village of Basufan and her fate remains unknown.
