​​​​​​​Ain Issa people end sit-in, emphasizing to cling to land, support SDF's resistance

Today, women and youth delegations from Manbij city participated in the sit-in tent in Ain Issa district, in support of the resistance of Ain Issa district people and the Syrian Democratic Forces against the attacks of the Turkish occupier.

Manbij youth organized a march that started from the entrance to the western side, and went through the streets and around the district, chanting slogans saluting the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces and denouncing the Turkish occupation.

The arrival of the delegations coming from the city of Manbij was accompanied by artillery shelling on the outskirts of the district from the northern side, which angered the people who saw that the shells fall was only hundreds of meters away from the Russian base.

So all those who participated in the sit-in set out in front of the Russian base, and protested against the Russian silence towards the shelling of the district, given that Russia is a guarantor of the ceasefire agreement.

Angry demonstrators pelted the Russian base with stones, expressing their discontent with the Turkish occupier in its attacks on the district.

The sit-in tent concluded its activities today with issuing a statement to the public opinion read by the Spokesperson for the Kongra Star in Ain Issa district, Khulud al-Jadoua, through which she denounced the silence of the international community about the Turkish attacks on Ain Issa district.

She stressed during the statement that they will continue to resist, and that they will remain attached to their land and support the Syrian Democratic Forces defending it.

The sit-in tent activities began in Ain Issa district on the 18^th of this month to denounce the attacks of the Turkish occupier and to affirm their clinging to the land, and delegations from all regions of north and east Syria participated in the sit-in tent to affirm their support for the resistance of Ain Issa district's people and the Syrian Democratic Forces.
