Hundreds of people from ed-Darbasiyah and Zarkan districts went out in a massive demonstration, expressing their rejection of the Baghdad-Hewlêr agreement, and Baghdad sending its forces to the Şengal organization.

Residents gathered in front of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Center in the district carrying banners with "No to the fratricidal fighting ... It is time for national unity" written on, in addition to raising pictures of the martyrs who were martyred in Şengal.

The demonstration went through the main streets in the district down to the Martyrs Square, and the demonstrators chanted slogans that revive Şengal resistance.

In Martyrs Square, everyone stood for a minute of silence, and the citizen Suleiman Haj Mansour spoke in the name of the people of both districts, saying: "We are witnessing a very sensitive phase, and the main goal of everything that happens in Şengal is to prevent the Yazidi community managing itself by itself, a conspiracy organized by the Turkish occupation to repeat the 2014 scenario."

Haj Mansour pointed out that after the Guerrilla defended Şengal areas after ISIS attacks, and helped Şengal people in organizing themselves, Erdogan is now trying in cooperation with the governments of Baghdad and the Region to undermine the will and determination of the Yazidi people who have suffered woes of injustice and genocide over the years.

At the end of his speech, Haj Mansour stressed that the Yazidi people and all the Kurdish people will not allow Şengal to be returned to 2014 "because the people have suffered enough, so they will struggle and defend in order to achieve their security and safety."

The demonstration ended with chanting slogans that saluted Şengal resistance and glorified the martyrs.
