The Turkish occupation army is bombarding the villages of Zakho for the second day in a row, and according to the information obtained, the people of Shlieneh village were bombarded from the bases of the occupation army in Southern Kurdistan, while they were trying to enter their orchards.

The Turkish occupation army continues to shell the villages of Zakho from its bases in Southern Kurdistan, targeting the people and their properties.

  Local sources reported that the people of Shlieneh village in Batova region in Zakho were exposed to bombardment while they were on their way to work in their orchards.

The shelling of the Turkish occupation army starts from its bases in Başûr, which were established by the occupation in agreement with the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

According to the same source, it is reported that a number of people were injured as a result of the shelling, while this information has not been confirmed yet.

The source explained that the bases of the Turkish state informed the people of the village not to enter their village, and that they are forbidden to return to their village.

Furthermore, the Turkish occupation's warplanes and artillery carried out today at dawn an intense bombardment targeting a number of villages north of Zakho province of Duhok governorate in Southern Kurdistan.
