Al Arabiya Network today reported that the Sudanese army is conducting comprehensive security for the border area with Ethiopia.

A military source confirmed that the head of the sovereign council, Abd al-Fattah al-Burhan, and the army commanders are supervising the security of the area, adding that military points have been set up in Sudanese areas off the Ethiopian Amhara region.

Today, after fierce battles, the Sudanese armed forces took control of all Sudanese lands and the "Abu Toyor" mountain completely, and a senior military source confirmed to Al-Arabiya Network that the Sudanese army will not stop until the retaking of the Khor Shid area, the last point on the international border line with Ethiopia.

On Thursday, the Sudanese army announced that it had sent large reinforcements to the border with Ethiopia after the killing of a number of its soldiers. Khartoum also lodged a complaint with the African Union and the "IGAD" organization about the Ethiopian attacks.
