Turkey continues to bombard separate areas of northern Syria, which observers attribute to Turkey's efforts to occupy new Syrian regions.

The Turkish attacks and bombardment operations focused on Ain Issa district and villages in the vicinity of Manbij and Tel Tamr district. They inflicted vast damage to civilian homes. In addition, the Turkish shells often fell in the residential neighborhoods and populated villages.

On this issue, Hanadi Mohamed from Manbij and the sister of the martyr Hadi Mohamed who was martyred in al-Raqqa liberation campaign says: "We notice the violations of the Turkish occupation in our regions and occupied areas. We do not accept this thing as families of martyrs because this land was liberated by virtue of the martyrs' blood."

Hanadi indicated that the Turkish occupation worked to sabotage and desecrate the shrines of the martyrs in Afrin after it occupied them. She added: "We must not sacrifice our lands and surrender it simply because the blood of the martyrs is not cheap for us. We will not surrender and we will be one hand with our people in Ain Issa and other areas as long as we sacrificed the souls of our martyrs for this homeland."

Kifaa al-Ali, who is from Manbij and the wife of the martyr Khalil al-Hassen, says: "The Turkish occupation attacks on Ain Issa increased during the winter periods. They intend to occupy this area and we do not accept such attacks."

In a related context, Mahmoud al-Eido, the father of the martyr Mutasem Mahmoud al-Eido who was martyred during his participation in the campaign to liberate al-Raqqa, said: "We reject all attacks on the regions of northeastern Syria, and as the families of the martyrs, we are ready to sacrifice our lives for the blood of the martyrs who liberated this country from all terrorist groups, and are ready to stand in the first rows to protect and preserve the soil of this country and the blood of our martyrs."

At the end of his speech, al-Eido called for the mercenaries who support the Turkish occupation to return to the homeland and protect it instead of standing with the enemies against it.

It should be noted that villages located north and west of the city of Manbij have recently been subjected to bombardment and targeting with heavy weapons, launching from the sites of mercenaries and Turkish forces in the occupied areas in northern Syria.
