ISF: Investigations are underway to know who launch attack on parties' offices

The Interior Authority in Al-Jazeera region confirmed that the Internal Security Forces ISF are conducting investigations from the first moment into the attacks that affected the offices of some parties in Al-Jazeera region, indicating that those who are involved in the attack will be handed over to the courts.

On December 14 and 15, the offices of some political parties in northern and eastern Syria in Ad-Darbasiyah, Amouda, and al-Hasakah were attacked, and as a result, some parties began to accuse each other, without any evidence, in the service of personal agendas.

In this context, the co-chair of the Interior Authority in Al-Jazeera region, Kanaan Barakat, rejected these attacks during a statement to our ANHA agency, and said, "We reject these attacks that came at a time when discussions are being held to unify the Kurdish ranks in the region."

And added" ISF in Al-Jazeera region since the beginning of launching the attack the investigations are held to know who is responsible of these attacks that affected on parties' offices, noting " these attacks violate the laws in Al-Jazeera region, and no one has the right to sabotage or attack any office or institution public or private.

Barakat stressed that investigations are continuing, and added: "When those involved in the attacks are arrested, they will be handed over to the court in the first place."
