Raqqa and Tabqa IDPs at al-Hol Camp return home

In conformity with the decision taken by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria that gives leave to the willing Syrian IDPs living at the al-Hol Camp to return home, today the seventh batch, of the people of the two cities of Raqqa and Tabqa was conducted.

It was made clear to ANHA by the camp management that after exit by the sixth batch they worked to enrol those willing families of the city of Raqqa and rural areas.

All these batches exit the camp after the guarantee system was over, and in compliance with the decision taken by  Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria on October 10th, 2020, based on the meeting held on October 5th, 2020, between Syria's Democratic Council, Social Affairs and Work Body and the Internal Security Forces.

The seventh batch, mainly people from the two cities of Raqqa and Tabqa, is made up of 350 people, after they submitting  documents that prove they belong to the regions they eager to go.

Internal Security Forces escort the journeys until they reach destination for the mere aim of protection, and handing them over to families.

Worth to note that the last of batches, the sixth one, was carried on November 24th, 2020.
