Sheikhs, notables of Ain Issa clans confirm support for SDF resistance

The sheikhs and notables of the tribes of Girê Spi canton and Ain Issa district confirmed that they back the SDF in defending their land against the Turkish occupier, while the Tal Abyad Military Council refuted all the rumors the media circulated about the fate of Ain Issa district.

This came during a meeting that brought together the elders and notables of the tribes of Girê Spi district and Ain Issa district with the military commanders of the Tal Abyad Military Council, which is based in Ain Issa district.

The military commanders explained the latest military developments in the district, the most important of which was the repeated Turkish attacks on the district, in addition to the agreement announced yesterday, to establish 3 observation points between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Damascus government under Russian supervision.

Tal Abyad Military Council announced the establishment of 3 points in Ain Issa district, which will be adjacent to the M4 international road, jointly with the Damascus government forces, under Russian supervision, to monitor the ceasefire and Turkish attacks on the area.

Military commanders responded to all inquiries made by tribal sheikhs and notables about the importance and mission of the recently announced observation points, and rumors that some media circulated about the fate of Ain Issa district.

The military commanders stressed the Syrian Democratic Forces are ready to defend the Syrian territories against any aggression.

The leaders of the Tal Abyad Military Council refuted the news the media circulated about the request of the Russians and the Damascus government to establish a security square in the area, stressing that all their meetings were in the framework of coordination and military action.

During the meeting, the sheikhs and elders of the tribes confirmed that the Syrian Democratic Forces had prevented all Turkish attacks that targeted their area, stressing that they would stand with them in the face of the occupier's ambitions towards their areas.

The clans expressed their confidence in the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and dealt wisely with the recent circumstances that caused a state of fear among the people about the fate of the district in the event of the continued Turkish threats and attacks on their areas.
