The Yazidi village of Basofan ... is hard proof about what is happing inside the village

The border village has been occupied for two years by Turkish occupation mercenaries, belonging to Sherawa district, was brutality shelled with aiming of terrorizing the villagers, forcing them to flee from it, and in the midst of that, there were numerous Turkish mercenaries' threats against the Yazidis and the Kurds in general, promising to beheaded.

In 2017, a year before the occupation of Afrin, a mercenary from the so-called "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" group, affiliated to the Turkish occupation army, appeared, and addressed his threats in a video clip, believed to have been filmed in the city of Azaz, of the Yazidis, describing them as "infidels and their killing is permissible."

Two days ago, the mercenaries of the Sham Legion " Faylaq al-Sham" carried out kidnappings in the Yazidi village of Basofan, which is affiliated with Sherawa district, against a number of civilians, including a young man who had previously been subjected to an attempt to kill.

The village of Basofan, whose residents were kidnapped, and a mosque was built in it, was one of the most prominent villages that Hariri visited for promoting his mercenaries, and confuse public opinion about what is happening in the occupied areas against the components and other beliefs, which reveals the falsehood of the claims of the mercenaries and the all-inclusive coalition and their main supporter, Erdogan.

The mercenaries claimed, through a statement issued by the media department in the so-called coalition, "that the townspeople confirmed that they freely practice their religious rites and rituals, and that their beliefs are respected. They also confirmed that they were not subjected to cases of forced conversion to Islam or the seizure of their homes and properties, confirming, the thefts that occurred individually for some of their possessions."
