​​​​​​​Ahmed to Belgian delegation: We, are in NE Syria ahead of Geneva

Meanwhile, the Belgian government delegation is meeting with the Syrian Democratic Council at the "SDC" headquarters in Qamishlo.

After its visit to the Department of Foreign Relations, the delegation visiting northern and eastern Syria, which includes "members of the Belgian Federal Parliament, George Dalmani, Queen Misto, Director of the International Association of Victims of Terrorism, Philip Vanstetkiste, member of the Association, Rudi Malek, and CEO of Child Focus to support" and to prevent missing, abducted and sexually exploited children, Heidi de Paolo went to the SDC's headquartrs in Qamishlo.

The delegation was received by the head of the SDC's Executive Body, Ilham Ahmed, vice president of the Governing Body, Hikmat Habib, and the co-chair of the public relations office of the Syrian Democratic Council, Jihad Omar.

During the meeting, Ahmed talked about the Syrian file in general and the proposed solution methods. “We are in northeast Syria ahead of Geneva, because we are looking for a solution with the Syrians and not the external parties, and we are working to make the Autonomous Administration a miniature model for the whole of Syria.”

Discussions are still continuing between the two parties at the SDC's headquarters.
