Afrin displaced view international community partner in Turkish crimes

Afrin IDPs deplored the international silence about the Turkish crimes in the occupied Afrin Canton, the last of which was gunning a minor with 40 shots by Turkish mercenaries.

Three years ago, the people of occupied Afrin underwent all kinds of violations by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, and the latest was by the so-termed (Hamzat Division) last week, as it committed a crime against three people from the village of Kimar in the Sherawa district; the minor, Hamo Najjar Jengiz, 14 years old, Abd al-Rahman Hamo, 70 years, and Masoud Majid Hamo, 30 years. He was wounded in the foot.

This crime angered Afrin IDPs in the al-Shahba Canton, who expressed their disapproval of those crimes of the Turkish occupation in the occupied Afrin.

"For years, we have been resisting in the camps, hoping to return to Afrin," Abdeen Hamo said.

'All countries had a hand in the occupation of Afrin, and in the Turkish crimes'

Hamo held the international community responsible for the occupation of Afrin and the crimes committed against its original inhabitants, saying, "We know that all countries had a hand in the occupation of Afrin."

Hamo continued, saying: “Where is the humanity that lets a 14-year-old child killed with 40 shots?”, Adding, “The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation are killing our people in Afrin to loot their property and force the rest to migrate to al-Shahba canton.”

Asum Ismail touched on the Turkish crimes, "We were deported from Afrin because of the brutality of the Turkish occupation. A 70-year-old was killed without any guilt.", "All countries are silent about our rights, so where is the conscience? Even the shrines of our martyrs did not spare their crimes."

Rustem Abdo said, "The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are killing the steadfast people in the occupied Afrin canton, because they want to eliminate our culture by these methods, and we will not allow them to exterminate the Kurdish people, and we will continue to resist here until the last breath in order to return to Afrin."
