Citizens: Hewler-Bagdad agreement on Şengal threatens Rojava

Citizens pointed out that any plot against Şengal would cast a shadow on Rojava, and explained that Hewler-Baghdad agreement targets the autonomous administration system.

On October 9th, t with the timed with 21st anniversary of the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) agreed, United Nations auspices to subjugate Şengal.

The Yazidis in particular and the Kurds in general reject the agreement, viewing it a prelude to the 74th genocide against the Yazidis, especially after 10,000 Iraqi soldiers arrived to the borders of the Şengal district.

" What the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Democratic Party are doing in Şengal aims to strike at the Şengal autonomous administration after the Kurdistan Democratic Party left them an easy target for ISIS.” Said Zendan Hassou, a citizen from Al-Darbasiyah.

Hassou considered the agreement against Şengal a prelude to striking the Autonomous Administration in Rojava.

"We in northeast Syria have a clear position on these attacks; we do not accept this matter, and we will fight until it," she said.

Citizen Idris Hussein pointed out Ankara’s involvement in the conspiracy against Şengal. After Necirvan Barzani’s visit to Turkey, he came up with a new scheme against the people of Şengal, who sacrificed hundreds of martyrs in order to liberate it from ISIS, adding, “They want to fail the administration there.”

Citizen Suleiman Haj Ali pointed out that there are "new plans aimed at liquidating the Kurdish people," and continued: "They are trying to commit the 74th genocide by introducing military forces without taking the opinion of the Şengal people into consideration."

Hajj Ali called on the Kurdish people in parts of Kurdistan and in Europe and everyone who carries an iota of patriotism to stand up to these plans.

Nouman Arabo, referred to the possible repercussions of the agreement concluded against Şengal and its effects on Rojava, "What is happening now, will extend to Rojava, as they target the autonomous administration system."
