The Turkish state has been imposing tight isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan since his capture on February 15, 1999, in an international conspiracy in which the United States, Israel, and most of the European Union countries, along with African countries, participated.

Isolation is imposed on the leader on Imrali Island in Turkey, and Turkey prevents the lawyer and family of the leader Ocalan from meeting him, in addition to preventing him from communicating with the outside world.

Despite the various activities calling for ending the isolation, Turkey continues to implement isolation with complete international satisfaction.

Ahmed Abdo who met the leader during the nineties of the last century recalled that the dominant forces fight all the figures who struggle for the freedom of their societies. He said: "The leader Abdullah Ocalan is not an ordinary person as he has been working for his people and all humanity since the beginning of his lifespan."

Tightening isolation in order to create chaos among Kurdish-Kurdish rapprochement

The Member of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Ilham Ahmed, considered the tight isolation imposed on the leader an attempt to break the will of Kurds and disperse them, adding, "The leader's physical detention does not mean that they were able to prevent the spread of his thought."

Ilham Ahmed indicated that isolation also aims to impede the implementation of the democratic nation project which forms the basis for the reunification of the peoples of the Middle East.

The Member of the Democratic Union Party, Radwan Shamo, affirmed that what is meant by the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan is to keep the crisis situation in the Middle East in place.
