Crisis Cell in Euphrates region issues circular to lift curfew for 5 days

The issuance of the circular aims to lift the curfew on foodstuffs only, for a period of 5 days, came after imposing curfew in the region on November 15.

Lifting curfew will start from next Thursday and ends on Monday.

During the period of lifting the curfew, which lasts only 5 days, owners of food shops, industrial stores, humanitarian organizations and public fuel stations are allowed to open, while other institutions remain closed according to the previous circular, as well as all forms of gatherings are prohibited, as for restaurants, parks, cafes, cafeterias, and clubs, they are closed during the partial curfew.

After the end of the specified period of lifting the curfew, the total curfew will return again for a period of 10 days, starting on Tuesday, the first of next December, and ending on Thursday, the tenth of the same month.

The Crisis Cell said in the circular that "the official statistics of the Health Authority show that the rate of the Coronavirus infections decreased from 111 positive cases to 28 positive cases, and the death rate decreased from 28 deaths to 4 cases."

It emphasized that "this is an indication of effective curfew and its significant contribution to limiting the spread of the virus."

In conclusion, the Crisis Cell thanked the residents and people of the Euphrates region for their commitment.
