Reham Hajjo: Erdogan puts plans, KDP implements

Agreement that concluded between Iraqi government and the government of Başûr Kurdistan, which is dominated by KDP on October 9, 2020, to manage Şengal in administrative and security ways that ignores the aspiration of its people, where many meetings have been held under supervision of the Turkish state.

Within the framework of these responses, the Yazidis formed a delegation that includes representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration Board of Şengal, sheikhs, and social and political figures, in order to communicate with the Iraqi parties and their government to stop this agreement that targets them.

This month, the delegation met with the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa al-Kazemi, and presented him with a report containing 18 items of the demands of the people of Şengal, and the delegation is still continuing to hold meetings in Baghdad.

Many parties refused the agreement and declared its support the people of Şengal province, but it has shown the real face that hostile the Yazidis and their will during the meeting held between UN representative in Iraq, the Minister of Interior of the KRG, Reber Ahmed, and the security advisor in Iraq, Qasim Ariji in Hawler.

And added the agreement between Baghdad- Hawler agreement is plot that planned against Şengal and their gains that had been achieved, the Yazidis were exposed to massacres on August, 2014, the liberation of their areas later, they established their own Autonomous Administration through which they would run their areas freely.

But KDP seeks to eradicate this AA due to its fear from the Democratic style, KDP has no right to talk on behalf the people of Şengal, after its forces fled from it during ISIS attacks.”

And continued" KDP instead of to hold the officials accountable who left Şengal and the Yazidis to face ISIS attacks, it sought to eliminate of the administration that established by the people.

Reham Hajjo linked every visit by an official in the Kurdistan Democratic Party, especially Nechirvan Barzani, to Turkey and a meeting with its president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and explained the plots being hatched against the Kurdish people in general, especially against Şengal province.

At the end of her speech, Reham Hajjo said that the Iraqi government's position is shameful because it insists on implementing the agreement, while the people reject this agreement, and she expressed her fear of a catastrophe if the government tries to implement the agreement by force on the people of Şengal.
