Anahita Sino: Hands should not remain folded towards schemes to undermine gains made

Feminist associations in the city of Qamishlo, called on the Kurdish consciousness not to drag behind some parts under any guise, for that would lead to a war inflict Kurds with heavy losses, making clear that ''we should never remain hands folded before such schemes that aim to undermine our gains and lead us to abyss''.

On the background of mobilizing forces, by Kurdistan Democratic Party, the PDK, in the Legitimate Defense areas in Başûr, the Educated Woman Association, Woman Association in the Intellectuals Union of the Jazira Canton and the Literary Works Committee in Rojava,, issued a statement to Kurdistan public opinion.

The statement that was read in the Reading Park at the city of Qamishlo, by Anahita Sino, co-chair of the Intellectuals Union of the Jazira Canton, reads as follows :

''what have been gained in Başûr and Rojava, and what is being shown by our people in Rojhilat and Bakur, of immeasurable sacrifices and unrelinquishing resistance, by virtue of martyrs, from early days up to date, for the sake to keep gains at hands now, that were unobtainable in the course of years lapsed, the long-dreamed gains are now real on the ground, for this, they are priceless in such a critical phase that is exploited by enemies, as inciting intra-Kurdish disputes, to engage in a useless war, that has been hatched at the expense of Kurds''.

Anahita then called on the Kurdish consciousness to be vigilant and not drag behind enemies' stratagems, saying:'' on this, we should never stand hands folded, we are a part of this nation, that has been still sacrificing for a very long peiod''.
