5 deaths, 190 new cases of Corona in NE Syria

On Wednesday, the Health Body of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced that it had recorded five deaths of people with COVID-19 and 190 new cases in north and east Syria.

Dr. Juan Mostafa, the Co-chair of the Health Body in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria explained that the deaths are of two men from Derik, a man from al-Hasakah, a fourth one from ed-Dirbasiyya, and a woman from al-Shahba.

Mostafa added that they registered 190 new cases of COVID-19 in north and east Syria, which are 115 males and 75 females, and they are distributed as follows:

25 cases in al-Hasakah

14 cases in Derik

17 cases in Qamishlo

8 cases in Amuda

7 cases in Girkê Legê

2 cases in Tel Tamr

1 case in ed-Dirbasiyya

1 case in Çil Axa

1 case in al-Hol camp

40 cases in al-Tabqa

22 cases in al-Raqqa

25 cases in Kobane

18 cases in Manbij

5 cases in Deir ez-Zor

4 cases in al-Shahba

Mostafa also mentioned that 17 new recoveries were recorded.

It is worth mentioning that the number of people infected with Corona virus in the regions of northern and eastern Syria reached 6,420 with the announcement of these new cases, including 168 deaths and 905 recoveries.
