The Turkish occupation state continues its efforts to change the demographics of the occupied areas and Afrin in particular, as the Turkish occupation, through its intelligence institutions (MIT), works to change the names of landmarks, squares and villages in occupied Afrin to the Turkish language and impose the Turkish language as an official language in the curricula in Afrin, and forcing the people to deal In Turkish currency, and change their ID card to Turkish.

The official spokesman for the Afrin Human Rights Organization -Syria Ibrahim Sheikho said that the Turkish state has promoted the issue of settlers' housing in the homes of indigenous people in occupied Afrin, under humanitarian names. "In this context, a German organization (Welt Hunger Hilfe), which has a branch in The Turkish city of Gaziantep offered a tender for the cladding and restoration of 400 homes in the cities of Afrin and Azaz to house settlers and mercenary families.

Sheikho added, "We in 28 human rights and civil organizations signed a protest memorandum and sent it to the organization's administration in Germany in both German and Arabic, and we expressed our protest against what that organization is doing in the homes of indigenous people in Afrin and settling settlers and mercenary families there."

Sheikho continued that the cladding and restoration operations that the German organization will work on target the homes of Afrin people, who were forcibly displaced to al-Shahba canton and spread in five camps, and the houses were almost destroyed.

The spokesperson for the Human Rights Organization stated that the displaced from Afrin, who live in al-Shahba canton in the camps, are suffering from difficult conditions, and that they need assistance on all levels, and that their priority is to provide aid with the onset of winter.

Sheikho indicated that the project that was presented by the German Welt Hunger Hilfe organization will have negative effects on the region if it continues, and that it will consolidate the occupation in the region and change its demographics.

Regarding the efforts of the so-called "Syrian National Coalition" to legitimize the occupation and its crimes, a delegation headed by the mercenary (Nasr Al Hariri) visited Afrin under the pretext of standing up to the violations against civilians and an attempt by him to falsify the facts. Ibrahim Sheikho said: "The mercenary called Nasr Hariri visited the village Basufan of the Sherawa district in the occupied Afrin, a Yazidi village, and he claimed that what the Yazidi community is exposed to by the mercenaries are "individual crimes."

The mercenaries of Failaq al-Sham had deliberately built a mosque in the Yazidi village of Basufan and forced its residents to practice Islamic rituals in the village and forced the people to learn the Holy Quran, but the mercenaries of the coalition did not address this topic.

The official spokesman for the Afrin Human Rights Organization -Syria Ibrahim Sheikho believes that the visit of the mercenary Nasr Hariri and the coalition delegation to the occupied Afrin canton during this period is to beautify the image of the Turkish occupation, the coalition and the mercenary factions.
