on Sunday, the Syrian government forces, backed by the Fourth Division, launched a campaign of raids in the vicinity of the city of Daraa, amid reports of the arrest of several people.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that government forces, supported by members of the Fourth Division and its security services, are raiding separate places in the areas of al-Shayah and al-Nakhla and the outskirts of Daraa, amid reports of several arrests.

In the same context, the observatory said that a series of explosions were heard in separate areas of Daraa city, caused by the government forces’ shells on the area.

The government forces began to mobilize since yesterday, Saturday, as part of a security campaign to storm the remnants of ISIS mercenaries, as they claim, in the city of Daraa, which is witnessing a state of chaos and security chaos: assassinations, killings and kidnappings by unknown persons.

The number of attacks and assassination attempts in Daraa since 2019 and until this moment reached 747 assassinations and attacks, according to the Syrian Observatory, and the operations were in various forms and methods by detonating bombs, mines, and car bombs and firing, while the number of those killed during these attempts during the same period reached 493, including 138 Civilians, including 12 female citizens and 15 children.

According to the observatory, 216 members of the government forces were killed as a result of the same assassinations, in addition to 93 of those who carried out "settlements and reconciliations", and they remained in the ranks of the government forces, including former leaders, 23 from the Lebanese Hezbollah group and the Iranian forces, in addition to 22 of what is known as the "Legion" Fifth".
