As part of her tour in the regions of NE Syria at the special request of European Parliament, MEP, Hana Neumann met this evening in Qamishlo, the SDF's public relations official, Redor Khalil, and the official spokeswoman for the YPJ, Nasrin Abdullah.

MEP and head of relations with the Arabian Peninsula, Hana Neumann, arrived yesterday morning to NE Syria regions via the Semalka border crossing, and met many officials in the Autonomous Administration (AA).

During the meeting, MEP explored the military and security developments in the region, the foreign military forces in the region as well as the situation of the families of ISIS mercenaries' camps, and their detentions.

The public relations official for the SDF, Khalil indicated that the areas of NE Syria had been liberated from the ISIS mercenaries, and that the Syrian Democratic Forces are still pursuing ISIS sleeper cells.

He noted that those liberated areas were attacked and by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and it occupied some areas later, displacing thousands of civilians, as well as a change in the reality of the existing forces in the region.

"Currently, there are the international coalition forces, and the Russian forces, in addition to government forces in some other areas, especially the border guards." He said.

He explained that the region is currently experiencing a state of anxiety due to the continuing violations of Turkish and its mercenaries and the constant threats to occupy new areas.

For her part, the official spokeswoman for the Women's Protection Units, Nasreen Abdullah, touched on the great military challenges in the region to fight terrorism, and the world's indifference to the file of ISIS mercenaries in SDF's detentions, and mercenaries' families in the camps.

Abdullah also touched on violations against women in the Turkish occupation areas, as well as the reality of those forcibly displaced in the AA areas, without any moves by the relevant authorities in the European Union and in human rights affairs.

It is noteworthy that the meeting of a member of the European Parliament "MEP" and the head of the delegation for relations with the Arabian Peninsula, Hannah Neumann, is her fourth meeting in her tour to the regions of northern and eastern Syria, which is supposed to be followed tomorrow by a meeting with the "Star Conference" of the civil society institutions in Northern and eastern Syria.
