61 members of the government forces and ISIS mercenaries were killed within 90 hours in the ongoing clashes between the two sides in Hama eastern countryside.

The axes of al-Rahjan, al-Shakousia, Athria and other axes in Hama eastern countryside within the Syrian Badia are witnessing violent battles between ISIS mercenaries on one side, and government forces on the other side.

Despite the intense participation of the Russian warplanes, government warplanes, and helicopters to repel the attacks of ISIS through intense air strikes, the latter continues its offensive which began less than 4 days ago, and was able to control a military gathering and seize machineries and ammunition for the government forces in Athria countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented more heavy human losses during about 90 hours of intense aerial and ground bombardment and violent clashes, as the death toll of the government forces rose to 39, while the death toll of ISIS mercenaries rose to 22, and the number of deaths is expected to rise due to the wounded, some of them are suffering serious cases.

Thus, the death toll from 24 March 2019 to the present day has reached 887 dead from the government forces and the militants loyal to it of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, including at least two Russians, in addition to 140 from the groups loyal to Iran of non-Syrian nationalities.

The Syrian Observatory also documented the killing of 4 civilians working in the gas fields and 11 shepherds, in addition to a female citizen in ISIS' attacks, while the Observatory also documented the killing of 482 ISIS mercenaries at the same period during the attacks, bombings and targeting.
