SDF statement: Turkey escalates its attacks on Ain Issa

In a written statement, the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) stated that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries have escalated their attacks on Ain Issa district in the last three days.

The SDF statement also confirmed that significant damage was caused to civilian property as a result of these Turkish attacks.

The text of the statement issued today stated the following:

"Recently, the Turkish occupation state has escalated its attacks on Rojava, targeting civilians in particular, and has caused great damage to the property of the people, as it seeks through these attacks to displace the population from their areas.

In the last three days, villages belonging to Ain Issa district along the international highway (M4) have been under intense and violent bombardment with drones and warplanes flying over Ain Issa district.

A group of mercenaries tried to infiltrate Ain Issa district at dawn on October 21, as the Ain Issa Military Council fighters were confronting their attacks, clashes broke out in the vicinity of Saida village, killing 10 mercenaries and wounding a large number of them.
