Since last Friday, Ain Issa district and its countryside are being haphazardly shelled, causing unthinkable devastation in civilians' properties, predawn Thursday many shells landed on the northwestern neighborhood, while the gangs tried to launch direct attack on the district, but it was foiled by SDF.

ANHA's correspondent interviewed a number of residents in the district in the aftermath of the attack, where Hamud Al-Isma'il said that '' We were very scared by hearing the sounds of the shelling."

He decries the silence of the international community of the brutal attack against the armless civilians, despite the ceasefire agreement, and that there is a guarantor to this agreement, hinting at the Russia.

In relevance to this, Zahra Mohamed said that '' we, as civilians, in this district, we just need the safety that we enjoyed it, but the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries try to spread the chaos and violence through the shelling and terrifying people in order to displace them and live in unrest."

Both Hamud and Zahra asked the international community and Human Rights Organizations to move and reply to their repeated appeals to put pressure on Turkey to stop these assaults on their regions.

Lately, the random shelling on the district resulted in the martyrdom of Hatem Zaidan, 13 years old.

Though Russian and Syrian government forces are present in the area, rather they have never commented on this, and though the U.S. and Turkey reached a ceasefire agreement on October 17th, 2019, in addition to a Russian -Turkish agreement on 22nd of the same month that stipulates a ceasefire in the region, the international community have done nothing, and Turkey proceeds to breach agreements in a blatant violation to the international community.
