On the 9th of this October, an agreement was concluded between the Iraqi government and Hewler regarding Şingal, without taking into account its people will, accordingly all the components of Şingal condemned this agreement, and demanded to respect the will of its people.

In this context, our agency held a meeting with the Co-chair of the KNK Ahmed Karamos.

At the beginning of his speech, Karamos indicated that there had been no meeting or discussions with the Yazidi community, or the parties, organizations, and social and religious institutions in  Şingal regarding the agreement.

He noted that the Yazidis demands and will were not taken into consideration; that was a clear violation of the rights of this minority, adding, “In this way, the agreement is unacceptable and worthless. Although they claim that this agreement was concluded between the Iraqi government and the KRG, "southern Kurdistan," but we know very well that It was made with the participation of the Turkish state and a number of international powers. "

They are preparing to commit a new massacre against Şingal

He noted that, this agreement is an attempt to undermine the Yazidi-announced autonomous administration and cut the link between the Yazidi community and the rest of Kurdistan, Rojava that is, to put the region completely under the control of the Turkish state and the Kurdistan Democratic Party." Most importantly, to expel the Yazidi community from its holy homeland to commit a new massacre.

The Co-chair of the Kurdistan National Congress touched on Turkey role in this agreement, and said in this context, "The Turkish state influence is crucial through the Kurdistan Democratic Party. Their interests in the region are clear and known, based on a strategic alliance between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Turkish state.

The agreement was concluded between the Turkish state, the KDP and the Iraqi government ′

On the secrets of the agreement, he said, "Singal was one of the main topics that were discussed during the visit of the KRG, Başur Kurdistan president to Turkey. This region and 73 massacre committed against the Yazidis is becoming a worldwide issue. A while ago, French President Emmanuel Macron discussed this issue with Iraqi officials. Not only France, but many countries called for a solution to this issue, but the Iraqi government, the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Turkish state view this case with the eyes of suspect, because they realize that if it is resolved without them, the region will be recognized, and for this their agreement block the way to the solution.

Rojava and Başur Kurdistan are under threat ′

He said that such an agreement, which does not contain a single clause to solve the issue, it poses a great danger, and added, "This is not a solution agreement. It is a conspiracy to undermine the gains in the region, and it does not pose threat on the region alone, but rather on all gains of Rojava and Başur Kurdistan as well, as the Turkish state is trying to occupy the territories of Rojava and Başur Kurdistan, in order to fulfill its dream of bring into life the Milli Pact by 2023.

The Co-chair of the KNK touched on the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party on the borders between Rojava and Basur, “souther Kurdistan,” and the KDP build up on the borders, indicating that this is not an accident, and said, “This is not the first time that the KDP has done so. When Şingal was liberated by the Freedom Fighters and Şingal Resistance Units, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) dug trenches between Rojava and Başur Kurdistan, and the Peshmerga massed in the region, at a time when it opened the way for the Turkish state army to reach Sanun and Bashiqa to station in it, without a doubt, there is a link between the plot against Şingal and Rojava, and what we fear is that the Turkish state will launch an attack on the region through the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
