Targeting Hevrin Khalaf was a target against all Syrian women

Under the slogan "To Defeat the Occupation ... and Struggle for Peace," the Future Syria Party in al-Hasakah canton commemorated the Secretary General of the Future Syria Party, Hevrin Khalaf, who was martyred at the hands of the Turkish occupation's mercenaries.

Hundreds of members of civil and military institutions, in addition to dozens of members of political parties in the city participated in the commemoration in Selko hall located in Kheshman neighborhood in the city.

The hall was decorated with the Future Syria Party's flags, the martyrs Hevrin Khalaf's pictures, in addition to lighting candles in her honor.

After the attendees held a minute of silence, several words were delivered by the Member of the Future Syria Party Council, Ahmed Asaad, and the Administrative Member in the Youth Office of the Future Syria Party Council, Lina al-Zaher.

In the beginning, the words recalled the martyr Hevrin Khalaf: "The martyr Hevrin Khalaf struggled for all women in the world and the Syrian women in particular. In addition to that, she was working to establish peace."

The words indicated that the martyr Hevrin's will was not normal, but she had a motivation for the peoples' safety and achieving peace all over Syria.

The words called on the international organizations to carry out the necessary investigations about her assassination at the hands of Ahrar al-Sharqiyya mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army, indicating that the martyrdom of Hevrin Khalaf was an affront to humanity.

In the end, the words indicated that by targeting Hevrin Khalaf, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries aimed to target all Syrian women, pledging to follow the footsteps of the martyr Hevrin and all the martyrs who struggled for the peoples' freedom, and to achieve their goals in spreading peace in the region.

The commemoration ended with showing a short film about the life of the martyr Hevrin Khalaf and her work within the Party.
