The media office related to al-Kazimi issued on Friday a statement saying that the latter in a meeting with a delegation from the Başûr Kurdistan government confirmed '' the conclusion of the agreement on administrative and security affairs in Şengal province."

Indicating that ''law is basically considered to establish strong state via citizenship, that cares for the religious and ethnic variety, the principle that would never be given up as it matters the future and unity of Iraq, stressing that the delay of the spread stability in Şengal province was at the expense local people, who suffered from ISIS gangs, they still suffer today from the lack of services.

Stressing that '' the Federal government in coordination with the Regional one would play its main role to implement the agreement perfectly, to be a success, in cooperation with the local community firstly'', pointing out that security in western Ninewa lies within the responsibility of the Federal government.

The media office noted that ''the reconstruction agreement in Şengal province concludes many administrative, security and service points, while the directive aspect would be solved between the two sides taking into account the demands of the locals' people in the province''.

Adding:'' all the security issues lies within the area and powers of the federal government in coordination with the KRG, while the service aspect would be the responsibility of a joint committee from the two sides and the Ninewa province.

In August 2014 Şengal witnessed assaults from ISIS mercenaries after the federal forces fled the Ninewa province and the PDK related Peshmerga from Şengal, that led to massacres against the Yezidis classified as genocide by the United Nations.

And the residents are still suffering from the repercussions of ISIS attacks, and to avoid the same scenario autonomous administration was established by the people in Şengal irrespective of the quota system of the parties and entities in Iraq.
