The march began from the Martyrs Cemetery in Ahras district in al-Shahba canton, and it was planned to end on its third and last day near al-Mushat School in the town of Fafin.

The march comes in the context of the campaign "It Is Enough for Occupation, It Is Time to Protect the Revolution" launched by the Kurdistan Community Union, and aims to intensify efforts to confront the Turkish occupation by strengthening internal ranks and escalating resistance in the face of the military, economic, cultural and psychological attacks of the occupation.

This march is also organized to denounce the strict isolation that the Turkish authorities continue to impose on the leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali Island prison, as they prevent his lawyer and family from holding meetings with him, violating charters and laws that guarantee the rights of prisoners and political detainees.

Hundreds of women participated in the march wearing a uniform with pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and they raised banners with pictures of Ocalan and the logo of the Kongra Star, in addition to banners with "Time is time of freedom," "Death to betrayal," "It is enough for isolation" written on, chanting slogans that salute the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

A few moments before the march, Hasna Hassen, the Member of the Kongra Star in Afrin region gave a speech in which she said: "This demonstration is to break the isolation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan who leads peace to all persecuted and humane peoples, so the Turkish authorities are tightening isolation on him, but we will continue our resistance and will not cease our activities until we see the leader among us."

It is scheduled that the participants in the march will arrive at the end of the first day to the al-Ahdath district, and on the second day, to the village of Tel Shaeer in Fafin town.

On the third day, the march is expected to reach the vicinity of al-Mushat School, after covering a distance of about 25 kilometers.
