According to a statistic conducted by the Workers' Health and Occupational Safety Council, 433 workers committed suicide during the last seven years, due to reasons related to work conditions.

The Turkish lira is one of the worst performing currencies this year, down by 22 percent, due to concerns about the dwindling foreign exchange reserves of Turkey and real interest rates well below zero.

The value of Turkey's foreign debt in foreign currency, which is due for payment within a year or less, reaches 176 billion dollars, while foreign reserves amount to more than 45 billion dollars.

And if added to that figure, gold reserves could reach $ 90 billion, which constitutes the lowest rate of short-debt coverage in emerging economies.

The Turkish economy contracted by 9.9 percent during the second quarter of this year compared to the first quarter, and according to the "Associated Press", this decline came after the closure measures that were imposed to contain the emerging coronavirus pandemic.

According to Bloomberg, the situation in Turkey raises concerns about obtaining financing from abroad, and therefore the country's rating has been lowered to “BB-”, which is three degrees below the required rate for investment.

Observers believe that the year 2015 was a watershed year for the Turkish economy, as the economy began to enter a severe recession, that is, exactly the same year in which President Recep Tayyip Erdogan changed the nature of the political system in his country, from parliamentarian to presidential, to single out the rule of the country, and turn his country into a hopeful state. To dominate by force over its political and geographical surroundings.

And after Turkey clearly deviated from regional and international understandings, in particular with the United States, the Turkish currency retreated, losing nearly 40 percent of its value during 2018.
