QAMISHLO - SHIHAB AL-AHMED

The Turkish state has expanded recently in the Middle East and neighboring countries behind Erdogan's leadership who is seeking to restore the so-called glories of the Ottoman Empire, which occupied the region for nearly 400 years amid international silence.

Notable of the Al-abu Asi clan in Tal Hamis Muhammad al-Yousef, explained the Turkish state has colonial ambitions, and stated, “The Justice and Development Party wants to restore the glories of the Ottoman state, and under the pretext of supporting the Syrian revolution and protecting the Syrian people, it interfered in Syria.”

Al-Yousef asserted, "Turkey has occupied several areas along the northern line of Syria, and cut off them from the Syrian identity as it did with the Iskenderun brigade and many other Syrian cities previously." He said, "Turkey's goals are not only the occupation of Syria, but the Arab world."

He pointed out that Erdogan is targeting the Kurdish people to obliterate their entire civilization and historical monuments, explaining, “The Kurdish people are a friendly people and has adapted in all countries, Turkey, Syria, Iran and Iraq. It has several historical positions such as the liberation of the Arab world and Islamic. "

Turkey seeks to carve the occupied areas from Syria

For his part, the representative of the Future Syria Party in Tal Hamis Muhammad al-Daham explained: “The Turkish state is trying to annex the areas of the north of Syria to Turkey like Azaz and the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Al-Daham noted: “Returning to the beginning of the Syrian crisis, Turkey confiscated the Syrian revolution, in several areas, including what was known as the Free Army, as Turkey considered itself its guardian, but later it Islamized it to serve its plans.”

Al-Daham indicated that Turkey has not only used the so-called Free Army, currently known as the (National Army) in Syria, but has exported it to neighboring countries as we see in Libya, and he said: “This confirms that the issue does not concern the Syrians, but rather are colonial expansion projects. It is based on destabilizing security in full view of the world. "

Al-Daham emphasized: “Turkey has not sought the issue of brotherhood in the Syrian areas it occupied, but rather seeks the traditional occupation, as it imposes the Turkish in schools.”

He explained that what is happening in Azaz and the northern countryside of Aleppo is the greatest evidence of annexing them to Turkey, and he said: “Pictures of Erdogan and Turkish flags are everywhere. It also resorted to imposing the Turkish currency, and he noted: "In the coming stages, these areas will be permanently annexed to Turkey, and break away from their Syrian foundation."

He explained, "Turkey says that it is fighting in Syria on the basis of the security of its borders, but what makes it fight in Libya and Greece? Its expansionist ambitions have become clear. The United Nations must take decisions in this regard because it has begun to pose a threat to European countries and the people of the region."
