Citizens: We are ready to repel Turkish occupation; and to refute Syrian regime lies

The Turkish occupation state and the Syrian government continue to target the regions of northern and eastern Syria, as the Turkish occupation continues to launch threats and target the M4 international road in the countryside of Tal Tamr, threatening the lives of civilians at risk, while the Syrian government is trying to ignite sedition by exploiting its agents in the region.

Despite the two agreements signed by the Turkish occupation with America on October 17, 2019, and Russia on October 22 of the same year, to stop military operations in northern and eastern Syria and the commitment of the Syrian Democratic Forces to do so, the Turkish occupation continues to target civilians and threatens to invade the region.

In this regard, Ayed Khalil Muhammad, a citizen of the Tirbespiyê district, explained that the Turkish threats are not new, nor will they be the last, and aim to colonize the region again, so it does not abide by agreements or treaties.

Khalil emphasized that the people of the region are the support for the Syrian Democratic Forces, and said: “We will not give up our region and our lands and we will sacrifice of our souls to defend it. We will turn the area into a graveyard for the Turkish occupation if it tries to invade it again.”

In a related context, the Syrian government is stirring up discord among the components of the region, as happened recently in Deir-ez-Zor, where the security forces in al-Hasakah and Manbij arrested people who declared that they work for the Syrian government with the aim of targeting tribal sheikhs.

In this regard, Adnan Muhammad Barho, from the Arab component and a member of Çil Agha district, explains that the Syrian government has kept silence about the violations of the Turkish occupation against the Syrian people, but is igniting discord among the people of the region through its agents.

And he called the people to be aware not to be dragged behind the false propaganda propagated by the Syrian government, and said: "The media talk about mobilizing Turkish forces to invade an area in Tal Tamr confirms that the Syrian regime is a partner to the Turkish occupation, and its goal in that is to undermine the will of the people of northern and eastern Syria."

Adnan Muhammad Barho confirmed that the people of the region and the clans will be the impenetrable dam in the face of the Turkish occupation in the event of attacks on the region again.
