16 drug users, dealers in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood 

The media center of the Internal Security Forces in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria published information today on its official website, revealing that its anti-narcotics forces had arrested 16 individuals involved in drug use and dealing in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood. The statement read:

"The anti-narcotics forces successfully arrested 16 individuals, including drug users and dealers, in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood after carrying out several separate raids based on precise information received by our forces and reports from residents about suspicious activities related to drug use and trafficking in the area. Drugs and weapons were seized from the individuals."

The statement indicated that the detainees, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent judiciary after the initial investigations, during which they confessed to being involved in drug use and trafficking within the neighborhood.

"Our forces reiterated the importance of reports from citizens, which play a decisive role in pursuing those involved in drug dealing and use. We urge everyone to report any suspicious activity to protect the community’s safety by calling the hotline 0995966682."
