Day after day, the voices of the Kurdish people rise in northern and eastern Syria, calling on the Kurdish parties and forces to unify their ranks to confront the dangers facing them, as the region is under constant attacks by the Turkish occupation army, and in this regard, the intellectuals of Al-Jazeera region stress the need for Kurdish parties to take steps, serious and fast.

Member of the Rojava Society of Intellectuals in Kurdistan (HRRK) Zakaria Afrin stated that they support the efforts made to unify the Kurdish ranks in northern and eastern Syria, and said: "The initiative launched by Mazloum Abdi is a historic initiative."

After the Turkish attacks on the regions of northern and eastern Syria on October 9, 2019, the Syrian Democratic Forces launched an initiative to unify the Kurdish ranks, and following the initiative, a series of meetings were held between the Kurdish parties, and the talks are still continuing, but they are slowly going.

And he stated, remembering Afrin, that the Kurdish people offered thousands of martyrs, in order to liberate the region and preserve its security and safety, and said: "The political parties must also follow the same way."

Zakaria emphasized that national unity preserves the existence of the Kurdish people, and protects its language and culture from extinction, and said: "The aim of the attacks launched against the Kurds is to strike our culture and language and end our existence."

And she remembers that she hopes that the negotiating Kurdish parties will take quick and urgent steps and form a Kurdish political reference. He said: "The time has come to unite."

As for Hassan Hussein, a member of the Kurdish Writers Union - Syria, Hasan Hussein explained: “The Kurdish parties must think about the people's interests and accelerate the achievement of national unity.” He said, “The Kurdish people are calling for unity to end the attacks on the Kurds in the four parts of Kurdistan.”

Hassan Hussein stressed the need to unite writers, intellectuals, and poets in their ranks and put their pens in the service of national unity.
