A local source from the occupied Girê Spi district reported that there is a hidden prison used by mercenaries to arrest citizens who are kidnapped for the purpose of extortion and demanding ransom from their families.

Cases of kidnapping and enforced disappearance practiced by mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army, with the aim of demanding ransom money from the detainees' families, taking advantage of the existing security chaos, are abound in the occupied areas, as kidnapping has become a business that brings them huge sums of money.

The source stated that those who ask for a ransom for his release do not have any name in the records of the prisons run by the mercenaries in both Girê Spi and Suluk district, when his relatives asked about him.

The source confirmed that they were able to identify a hidden prison location used by mercenaries to arrest those who wanted to demand the ransom in exchange for release, after a visit to a person who was released in return for a ransom.

The source confirmed that this hidden prison is located near the village of "Arbid" in the area of ​​Suluk, and specifically next to the electricity company there.
