(S, A) spoke to "Hawar News Agency" correspondent about the tragic conditions in Afrin, and the violations of the Turkish occupation and mercenaries who work under direct order by the Turkish occupation army and its intelligence institutions.

Citizen (S, A) began her speech "for nearly three years, I have lived in my village in the occupied Afrin canton in light of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in Afrin.

The citizen (S.A.) continued by saying: "We left Afrin to al-Shahba canton after the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries occupied Afrin, and we returned to our village in Afrin to protect our properties and agricultural land, which is a source of livelihood for us, but we did not realize what will happen to us when we return to the village."

(S,A) states that they have lived for nearly three years under occupation in hell because of the violations of the Turkish occupation with the participation of its mercenaries.

Her husband was kidnapped due to the similarity of his name to that of another person

On the cause of her husband's death, (S.A.) said: “In August of last year, a patrol of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army kidnapped my husband from his workplace in Afrin, where he was working in a restaurant in the center of the city, and took him to an unknown destination, and we did not know where he was. "

(S.A.) continued: "They kidnapped my husband, and beat him for about two months, until his back bones crumbled, and he became suffering from chronic diseases, all on the pretext that his name is similar to that of someone."

(S.A.) added, "Two months passed since my husband was kidnapped without knowing his fate until he was released, and after he was subjected to various types of torture, they later told him that he was not the person they wanted, and there was a mistake in the matter and that his name was similar to that of someone, and when he returned home it was His health is very poor. "

The citizen (S.A.) stated: “My husband’s suffering lasted for a year. A doctor at the Idlib Governorate Hospital told us that the diseases he suffered were caused by the torture that he had been subjected to, as my husband had not previously suffered from diseases before his arrest.”

Theft of civilian property, and the sharing of the people's crops

Regarding the situation in Afrin and the violations committed by the mercenaries against the residents of her village, (S.A.) confirmed: “The extent of the violations committed by the mercenaries in our village cannot be described in words, including the seizure of civilian property and agricultural lands, in addition to the theft of people's crops after they have been harvested, as well as a large number among the villagers were kidnapped by the Turkish intelligence and mercenaries, and their fate remains unknown until now.

(S.A.) added: "The sky-rocking prices prevail in the occupied Afrin canton due to the imposition of dealing in Turkish currency on civilians, as the price of gas cylinders reached 50 Turkish liras and the price of a liter of diesel reached 1000 Syrian pounds, not to mention the rest of the daily requirements."

She added: “The people of Afrin are demanding the exit of the mercenaries and the Turkish occupation from Afrin and the return of all the displaced to their homes, but the demands of the people are suppressed by killing or kidnapping in order to harass and displace them.”

The citizen concluded her speech by saying: “I left the occupied Afrin forty days after the death of my husband, because I could not bear the misfortunes that befell us and the mercenaries harassing us with the aim of displacing us and deporting us from our village in which we grew up.”
