SOHR: Targeting of the Turkish occupation vehicle on Lattakia- Aleppo road

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights indicated this morning, Monday, that it had monitored a new joint patrol, in which Russian-Turkish vehicles departed on the Lattakia-Aleppo International Road, in reverse from the previous patrols.

The patrol started from the village of Ain Hor in the northern countryside of Latakia, and headed towards the village of Tarnaba in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

According to the Syrian Observatory's sources, a Turkish vehicle was targeted, it is likely that it was carried out with an "RBG" missile, without information about casualties until the moment.

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced a few days ago that Moscow had stopped the joint patrols with Turkey on the international highway Aleppo-Latakia "M4" in Idlib province, due to "provocations" by mercenary groups.

Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said, "The militants have increased their attacks on the positions of the Syrian government forces and continue their provocations in the security corridor along the M4 highway," noting that "her country has stopped the joint patrols with Turkey as a result on the international road."
