Remains of 9 people found in Aleppo's al-Sakan al-Shababi district

Workers of People’s Municipality in Aleppo found the remains of 9 people in Al-Sakan Al-Shababi neighborhood while working on the restoration and rehabilitation of the neighborhood, while it will be examined by the Health Committee and the Forensic Medicine Committee.

During the excavation and restoration operations carried out by People’s Municipality in al-Sakan al-Shababi district of Aleppo, the municipality workers found the remains of 9 people who were killed during the presence of mercenary groups in the neighborhood.

This will be examined by the Health Committee and the Forensic Medicine Committee, to identify them and confirm the date of death.

For the first time, workers of the municipality found the remains of more than 9 other people in the Al-Istikama park in Ashrafieh neighborhood while working on its restoration on August 18, 2018.

Al-Sakan al-Shababi neighborhood came under the control of mercenaries, the Badr Martyrs Brigade of Khaled Al Hayani, who is supported by the Turkish occupation army between 2013-2016, while the area was liberated in February 2016 by fighters and fighters of the People’s Protection Units and Women’s Protection Units.
