leader in ENKS : They don't talk about demographic change and violations, but accuse Kurds of separatism

Faisal Yousef pointed out that the unified Kurdish position is in the service of democratic movement, the unity of the country, and civil peace, noting that those who accuse the Kurds of separation turn a blind eye to the demographic change in the occupied areas, and the systematic policies that target the existence of the Kurds.

The Kurdish-Syrian political parties and blocs in northeast of Syria, which included the "25-party Kurdish National Unity," and the Kurdish National Council (ENKS), reached on June 17, a common binding political vision and initial understandings, which would benefit the Kurdish people in Syria, as well as Syrians of all components.
However, the outlets of the Kurdish political parties in Syria have aroused a kind of resentment among some parties, claiming that it is an attempt to secede or dominate the formed administration and the region, in addition to accusing the Kurds of treason.

The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu threatened today the Kurdish National Council, and said, "Everyone who concludes an agreement with the YPG, will be their target," even though the agreement includes the Kurds, which is political and not according to what he described with a military party.

In response to the positions of those parties, the General Coordinator of the Reform and Change Movement and member of the presidency in the Kurdish National Council, Faisal Yousef, published his personal account on the social media.

Yousef touched on the opponents of the unity of the Kurdish ranks, who accuse the Kurdish people of separation, and he said, "None of these mention the demographic change that is taking place in Afrin, Serêkaniyê, areas of Tal Abyad and the Arab Belt Project. Many systematic policies targeting the Kurdish presence, and the necessity of standing with it to achieve its partnership in the homeland and recognition of his national rights, and ignore the reality of the Kurdish position, which is committed to the political process in the country, and demands the implementation of international decisions to resolve the crisis in the country.

Yousef touched on the importance of the Kurdish national unity to solve the Syrian crisis by saying, "The unified Kurdish position is in the service of democratic work, the unity of the country, civil peace, and social relations as it has always been since the establishment of the Syrian state until now."

He concluded his post by saying, "In short, the charges against the Kurdish unity are false, and the correct thing is that Syria is a democratic country for all its people."

The statement of the Kurdish parties had emphasized the importance of Kurdish cooperation and unity in Syria and welcomed the achievement as an important historical step towards greater understanding and practical cooperation, which will benefit the Kurdish people in Syria, as well as the Syrians of all components.

"The two delegations dedicated their work in fulfillment of the great sacrifices of the sons and daughters of Syria, especially the martyrs and wounded in Rojava and their families, who sacrificed their lives in the noble fight to protect the world from the tyranny of ISIS."
